Brannon Foster
Foster Architect is a small general practice architecture firm with experience in commercial, residential, and adaptive reuse.  We place great emphasis on personal service and quality design.  Foster Architect’s design philosophy is that through understanding, amending, and improving spaces we can string together moments that are beautiful, useful, and valuable.

Experience before Foster Architect:

  • 3 years’ experience with custom single-family homes at Christopher Architecture and Interiors

  • 5 years’ experience designing for people with disabilities at Evan Terry Associates

  • 5 years’ experience with commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects at Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio

 

Education:

Auburn University, Bachelor of Architecture where I participated in the Rural Studio, Urban Studio, European Study Abroad, and the Solar Decathlon.  I am an Inductee to the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society, a Pella Portfolio Prize winner, and Most Outstanding First Year Student award winner.

 

Other Activities

  • Serve on the Homewood Historic Preservation Commission

  • Served as second year director of the Birmingham chapter of the AIA  

  • A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional

  • A Licensed Architect in Alabama, Florida and New York

  • A National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) record holder- this grants me the ability to practice nationally and internationally
